Sydney Costume Workshop was founded by Leonie Grace. The business began trading commercially on 2 October 2015 in Shed 1 at the Canal Road Film Centre in Leichhardt, Sydney, Australia. The workshop became known for its specialist costume construction work across film, television, opera and theatre productions and was managed by costume cutter and maker Leonie Grace until mid-2025.

It brings its highly sought-after specialised equipment, traditional workroom expertise and a highly skilled creative team.
