Sydney Costume Workshop, credited in the official production programme under “Australian Costumes” alongside Janet Hine Design, provided costume making and alterations for the Australian and New Zealand tour. Sydney Costume Workshop was founded by Leonie Grace. The business began trading commercially on 2 October 2015 in Shed 1 at the Canal Road Film Centre in Leichhardt, Sydney, Australia. The workshop became known for its specialist costume construction work across film, television, opera and theatre productions and was managed by costume cutter and maker Leonie Grace until mid-2025.

NSCD Pty Ltd is a global company owned by Australian costume designer Nigel Shaw. It brings its highly sought-after specialised equipment, traditional workroom expertise and a highly skilled creative team. Together, these strengths expand capacity while preserving the detailed, hands-on approach that defines the Nigel Shaw standard of excellence.

Nigel Shaw Costume Design and Sydney Costume Workshop share a long history of supporting Australian theatre companies, producers and performers. Both businesses are now united in one access-controlled creative complex, forming an even more comprehensive and trusted resource for Sydney’s performing arts and screen communities
